Sept Meeting of the Noco Book Club
Sept Meeting of the Noco Book Club Our next book selection is The Trail: a novel by Ethan Gallogly (Author), Jeremy Ashcroft (Illustrator), 2021. To buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1737419203/ref=sspa_dk_detail_3 “The Trail is fused with humor, philosophy, and trail lore. Woven in is a back story detailing the origins of the John Muir Trail: a 211-mile trail spanning the rooftop of the Sierra Nevada from Yosemite Valley to Mount Whitney, the highest peak in the continental United States. Former Sierra Club leader Ethan Gallogly takes you on a wild tour across the Range of Light, describing its glorious scenery in vivid detail while introducing you to a diverse cast of characters drawn from his own personal experiences as a hiker.” https://www.cmc.org/groups-sections/front-range-groups/northern-colorado/calendar-of-events-trips-and-courses/june-meeting-of-the-noco-book-club-2024-08-28-2024-10-16-2024-12-17-2025-03-11-2025-05-15-2025-09-25 https://www.cmc.org/groups-sections/front-range-groups/northern-colorado/calendar-of-events-trips-and-courses/june-meeting-of-the-noco-book-club-2024-08-28-2024-10-16-2024-12-17-2025-03-11-2025-05-15-2025-09-25/@@download/image/the-trail-book.png

Meeting place will be at the Tap & Handle, 307 S College Ave, Fort Collins. There's outdoor seating, but I know they also have an indoor room in case there's inclement weather.

Any CMC member is welcome to attend. We'll discuss the book & anything else that comes to mind! An opportunity to learn from others and make new contacts.

If you are not currently on the book club listserv, please send me a message with your email so I can add you to it. Thanks!
