Join PPG members in this potluck event for food, drinks, and fun at the Prairie Skipper Pavilion at Cheyenne Mountain State Park. No pets allowed.
Side Dishes.Please sign up to bring a side dish HERE so we have a good assortment. Ideas include: green salad, pasta salad, potato salad, cucumber salad, coleslaw, baked beans, chips / salsa / dip, veggie platter, cheese platter, meat platter, mac-n-Cheese, casseroles, etc.

Burgers. PPG will provide burgers, vegi-burgers, paper goods, and water and we are asking participants to please bring a side to share (salads, fruit, dessert, chips - what do you want to enjoy with your burger and share with others?).
Drinks. You are welcome to bring your own drinks to enjoy and share if you wish (soda/water/beer/ice tea/etc.). PPG will provide water. Bring a reusable water container.
Games. We will have horseshoe pits available to us, but please bring any additional lawn games that you want to share!
Getting to the Prairie Skipper Pavilion
Cheyenne Mountain State Park has a $10.00 per vehicle admission fee if you do not have a state park pass. Consider carpooling. Entrance fees are your responsibility.
Driving Directions: 410 JL Ranch Heights Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80926
- I-25 exit #135, South Academy, head west on South Academy past Pikes Peak Community College, continue west to Highway 115, turn left (south) on Highway 115.
- Turn right at the first stop light, JL Ranch Heights Road (also the light for Fort Carson Gate 1), the park entrance is to the west.
- Go west and follow the road into the park. Look for state highway signs directing you to Cheyenne Mountain State Park.
The Prairie Skipper Pavilion has ample parking and stunning views of the city and park features below. Kids are welcome, and there is a playground next to the pavilion. There are bathrooms for men, women, and families next to the pavilion. The pavilion has picnic tables with benches. Feel free to bring your own chairs if you want something more comfy.
